Heading to Siem Reap in Feb 2010. I've never used www.angkorhotels.org but they have pretty good rates for hotels in Siem Reap right now. Is this site legit? Would appreciate feedback on service and reliability of this site. Thanks in advance =)
we used www.otel.com to book at the Day Inn (now called the royal Bay Inn on some sites) we found they had the best price of all we investigated, and better than going directly to the hotel.

Hi there, we stayed at the Victoria Angkor Siem Reap in Sept. 09.
Excellent hotel.
It is only a few years old... but is built in the old "Indochine" style.
Got a really good rate.
Bit far to walk to Pub Street & the old Market...but plenty of Tuk tuks available.
I emailed the hotel direct (didn't) book on the angkor website...but would imagine it would be legit!!!
Suggest you email hotel direct & ask if they still have the "stay 3 nights" pay for 2...with breakfast, the breakfast was amazing....even champagne if you want it.

I do not think the OP will get the price you got in September, February is peak season.

Yes it certainly did meet our expectations.
I would highly recomend hotel.

I used them to book the City River Hotel and found them to be very prompt with booking details. Had no problems what so ever.
