Hi

I've been to Goa a few times in the past but haven't been since Xmas 2006 when i was staying near calangute.

was just wondering if holidays there have got more expensive or am i just looking at the wrong time of year. I got a deal last time for £289 for a week (staying in a rubbish hotel admittedly but that didn't bother me anyway). we left it til 2 weeks before and then booked it up. Do prices like this still exist for holidays to Goa or have those days gone?

Will the price come down again if i leave it til the last minute?

I'm not bothered about the quality of the flight and hotel as i normally just book into somewhere cheaper and further away from the crowds when i get there but its still cheaper than booking a flight on its own.

any advice on booking tatctics would be very welcome.

Thanks

l was initially taken back when l first looked at going to Goa this year l thought the prices were alot more than last year (considering l went for a month bed and breakfast £757 ! ! and on my own ,that price included single supplement) l never went this year ( due to work commitments ) HOWEVER keep looking and IF YOU ARE FLEXIBLE you can get VERY ......VERY......VERY cheap flights. The cheapest l saw was £188 and that was with firstchoice for 2 weeks £328 for 3 weeks ! ! The key is HOW FLEXIBLE YOU ARE and if you are brave enough to hold out for a bargani ! ! Once they are gone they are gone............happy Goan holidays SERETA

I had been holding back since all the flights seemed to have gone through the roof. However I had a look at Travelrepublic and got three weeks flight from Manchester in January for £460 each. Thought that was ok and couldn't resist...we're going back!

Hi,

the last season i was in a nice place and very good location called Lotus yoga retreat, in south goa, Patnem beach.

The price is very good, like 20 pounds, including accommodation (beach hut), food and yoga(deck right on the beach). they have good yoga and healthy food. above all, the staff are very trustworthy people. they are english and swiss.
