You could consider two days in Varkala beach, it's a nice place. BTW,in which month do you plan to come?

Varkala is alomst mid way between Alleppey and Trivandrum, closer to Trivandrum.

The beach at Cherai close to Cochin on Vypeen island is very nice too, Nicer than Varkala IMHO but with less of a infrastructure.

I could also do with some help.

My wife and I are thinking of visiting Kerala at the beginning of November for two weeks.

I have seen the previous posts and have had quotes from operators in Kerala. However I always find there is a lot of moving around never staying anywhere for more than 2 nights.

If we did as Twinks said is there enough to keep us entertained around the Leela or Taj Green Green cove (which is better by the way?)

Can you tell which are the places not to be missed if visiting for two weeks.

I would definetly suggest the Leela compared to the Green cove. Also try for the club rooms they have a privare louge which sea facing.

PLease do let me know if you have any quesitons.
