So much more relaxing going by private car than the bus. You can stop at interesting places along the way (en route we visited the elephant washing, spice plantation, elephant orphanage with a ride through the peaceful forest, vantage points to see the tea pickers, tea factory (over rated) and ending up in Munnar town for a late lunch and wander around). On the return journey the following day we went upto the highest point and stopped at the waterfall and a Toddy shop. The driver was very informative and for us it was definately the best way to see everything.

You are selected a proper time scheduling for you trip to Munnar.You can surely make this a wonderfull and joyfull journey .

For that I suggest you must hire a cab from a good travel agency for your entire trip. It will be more useful to You. I don't think that it is a good choice of selecting a end-to-end drop and pick up. It will not give you a good satisfaction. If you hire a taxi You can make up your time scheduling as you wish. You can check the the rates of hiring cabs from cochin through online. You can select the appropriate cab for your comfort travel and affordable rates.
