I'm thinking of a lone-travelling to Nagoya in mid July... but unsure if it is safe for a female to travel around Nagoya alone? And how is the New Influenza going on in Nagoya?
Advice greatly appreciated.

Japan is probably one of the safest countries for anybody to travel alone. Regarding Swine Flu, if you are a healthy person and practice good hygiene (wash your hands frequently, etc), it is not particularly threatening at this point.
