Hi there

I just found out that on Saturdays, the museum is free for 18 year olds and under. Does this mean that the place is going to be super busy, and therefore creating long queues etc etc? Especially Oct 3, 2009 being sometime around a school holiday in Japan?

I just realised I've planned to go there on a Saturday. Thinking of changing it around to a Friday.

Should I change it to a Friday? Or Saturday morning is still fine?

Friday is better. Museums are usually crowded on weekends as a rule.

October is a season for Japanese school field trips. You might be bombarded by mobs of Japanese school kids on a Friday. I'd go as soon as the museum opens on Saturday.It shouldn't be too crowded in the morning.

It's open at 10am, and I plan to be there pronto - considering we'll be up early from the Tsukiji Fish Market anyway. :)
