According to the reviews of the hotel, the hotel is priced in Euros.
However for outside the hotel its Mauritian rupees. The normal advice is to bring sterling and change it to rupees at the exchange bureau at the airport in Mauritius.

You will need rupees outside the hotel for eveything else and you can pay the hotel bill by credit card.
