Dear advisors

I'll be visiting Hokkaido from 11-17 December with my family of 4 (husband and 2 gals age 9 & 11). We love driving holidays and would love to sightsee Hokkaido (mainly from Hakodate up to Sapporo) by driving.

Would it be too difficult to drive during that time due to winter? Would there be alot of snow?

We have had driving experience during winter (in USA and NZ) with light to moderate snowfall.
