Are there any shops near Bangsar LRT, good for shopping? Is Bangsar Village at Bangsar LRT also?
Thanks!
Hi
Nothing next to Bangsar LRT. Would prob need to cross a busy street then walk 15 mins to Bangsar shopping area. Bangsar Village is quite small n tailored 4 local residents. However pasar malam on Fri (cant remember) night may be quite interesting, lots of food stalls. For shopping Midvalley is the best choice.
Bangsar Village has two malls .... one about the size of Wheelock Place, the other about the size of Centrepoint. Specialty shops in both. BV is about a 15 min walk on Jalan Maarof.
Further along on Jalan Maarof is Bangsar Shopping Centre ... about the size of Paragon. A little more upmarket than BV especially the supermarket.
Aside from these 3 malls, there's also the Telawi Street shops .... a mix of small boutiques and cafes .... like Holland Village.
The Pasar Malam mentioned above is on Sundays near BV.
All can be accessed by a very short cab ride which will cost less than RM6. And yes, those cabs which hang around the LRT will use the meter.
