I think you mean A Vogel Insect Repellent with Neem Oil. If you can't buy it in health shops you can order online from AVogel

Have had a quick look round on the net for you. Can't find any thing about Dr Vogal but can find A Vogal , This is a range of natural cosmetics and remedies. If it's that you've been recomended I look in health food shops ie Holand and barratt.

Samlivvy, I might have put you onto this product. You wont get it in Holland & Barrett, they sell it on Amazon for around £7 and luckily our local alternative health shop sell it as our daughter uses it in Goa. Bio Force also make this product which contains neem instead of deet.

Bioforce is made by A Vogel, they are one and the same.

Natural insect repellants are often advised for use with very young children.

DEET based products will occasionally promote skin reaction in the young.

If its simply a matter of long term protection, then DEET wins.

Dont forget, if natural products really worked, then everybody would be using them, and nobody would bother with artificial ones.

It certainly works well for my 7 year old as she has never been bitten in the 6 weeks she has spent in Goa (although mossies may just not be attracted to her!) so I will buy it again for next Feb.

I have travelled to goa many times and have used deet based repellants, natural repellants the odomos etc that you can buy in Goa and always been bit not many times but all the same been bit.But this time i took Avon skin so soft dry oil spray i used it as igot out of the shower and sprayed all over it smelt a lot nicer than the Deet repellants and i never got bit once so next time i will be packing that .
