Should I book the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale or the Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix for 2 nights (Tues and Wed) mid August? My nephew, wife, 5yr old, and 2 yr old are coming from Italy. A lazy river, water slides, etc that both resorts have to offer is a priority as we will be spending Wednesday at the pool. They are about the same price. The Marriott is about 10 miles from where my relatives will be staying in Scottsdale with family and the Westin is about 5 miles away. I was ready to book the Westin, but they won't let more than 4 people per room into the pool area. U have to wear wrist bands. They won't count the 2 year old, so we are fine, but I'm worried if another family member wants to stop by. They have a $25 per day resort fee that includes parking and a shuttle over to nearby shopping and a bunch of other stuff. The Marriott wants $10 just to park. I'm flying in on a Southwest airline package deal from San Diego. The Westin looks like it is a little nicer than the Marriott?
