I'm planning a 10day trip to Quebec City and the areas surrounding. I have 6days booked in an apartment @ 38 rue desJardins and hope that will be enough time to explore the city.
The trip is doubling as a vacation and a 1st anniversary, and some romance-y stuff would be great, so I planned 3days in La Malbaie 3days in Baie-Saint-Paul.
But my wife reminded me that we got bored in Cesky Krumlov (a small artsy country town in CZ) and suggested that we might have a similar experience if we stay in small towns too long.
I guess we really are city folk. Cinema, theater, complicated meals combining subversive conversation, cappuccino and whiskey, thats really kind of our thing.
Would 6days in Charlevoix be too pastoral for us? If so Montreal is an option; I just haven't thought of Montreal as a vacation destination.
