We were searching for car rentals several weeks before a July trip to the Denver area. The lowest fees for a 3 day weekend rental using a coupon were $193 for a compact car. We waited until just two days before our trip and rates from Budget, Dollar and Thrifty had dropped across the board to about $85. We rented a mid-sized car from Enterprise for $73 including taxes and fees. When we got off the rental car shuttle (which arrived promptly outside the airport), we were greeted by an Enterprise employee. When we entered the Enterprise facility, the counter was filled with about 15 to 20 employees, all waving at us, smiling and saying "Welcome to Denver!" It put a smile on our faces, I'll tell you. The agent we walked up to (there were so many to choose from), processed us promptly, walked us out to our car and did not attempt to upgrade us, sell us insurance we didn't need, or try and tell us we'd be better off having them fill up the tank upon our return. We were also greeted pleasantly upon our return and asked how our trip was. It was an entirely pleasant experience! We had never used Enterprise before but will be sure to do so again.
