Hi,

My husband and I are flying into RSW and have chosen and will continue onto SSR. We have chosen not to rent a car because of the SSR trolley service.

Does anyone know what would be the cheapest way to get back and forth to the airport? Taxi (certain company?), shuttle, etc?

I have no limo service I could recommend and Sanibel Taxi can be a bit unreliable. The taxis going from the airport to SSR are price regulated. SSR is zone 10 with a flat rate of $75 + $8 fuel surcharge for a total of $81 with tip being additional 10-15%.

Returning to the airport the rates are NOT controlled and are significantly higher, usually $90-100 and up. SSR can help you arrange return transport. Usually, renting a car is cheaper than limo service, but certainly isn't needed on SSR.
