Man, I went out to walk the dog this morning and got hit in the face by a blast of frosty air. I checked the thermometer and it was only 60 degrees. What the heck is going on. It shouldn't be this cold until December.

The news folks are saying it'll be like this for a while. If you're coming over, maybe bring a jacket.

I don't think there will be much to complain about after having one of the nicest weather weekends of the year. It was great for Marshall Tucker on Friday, great for lunch at Downtown Disney on Saturday, and great for yard work on Sunday. I am looking forward to spending a little time outside after work today too. This is one of my favorite times of the year.

I have put an order in for highs of 85* for next week, hope my order hasn't been misplaced

I was concerned to hear about these arctic temperatures; so much, that I have decided to form a charity that will be distributing ex military cold weather gear for you poor freezing people.

This will include parkas, survival suits and some of those silver blankets. I am also hoping we can get a supply of hot chocolate, scotch broth and mulled wine put together in a separate shipment.

My advice in the meantime is to turn the air conditioning down a little bit and stock up on logs and coal. Hopefully I'll be able to get all this put together before hyperthermia sets in. Please bear with me and I'll be in touch.

Hi Chinner

Great idea but some of the Florida Beach towns have beat you to it.

We were there for that cold snap in Nov 2008 - I had one hoodie to keep me warm and was walking round if flip flops. On the radio they were advertising the community shelter where they were handing out gloves and warm clothes for the needy - I was tempted!

I'm visiting at the end of October. I really love the waterparks. I am really hoping that it is warm and I don't miss getting to go to them!
