 Bears Best

Has anyone played Bear's Best? On their web site they have a special where you get a sleeve of Pro V's, range balls and a free video analysis. I would like to know if anyone has done this and what they thought about it. My other choice is Red Rocks Country Club.

Digger, I like Bears. That sounds like a good deal. It's a first class place. I preferred R-Bay, but Bears is good.

As a major fan of Chicago's NFL franchise, this sounds like the ONLY place I would play at if I played golf!

Just got back from a week in Vegas. Played a lot of golf out there, including a round at Bear's Best for about $50.

Saw the deal they had going. I got a better deal via EZLINKS though. Range balls are included with all tee times, so this is no biggie.

I don't know if I would do the package deal over the EZLINKS offer. It depends on if you really want that video analysis.

Either way, it is worth the trip at least once. There are some great views of the strip, not to mention the Red Rocks.

As for Red Rock Country Club, which course would you be playing. I have played both the private Mountain course as well as the public Arroyo course. The Mountain is awesome, while the Arroyo is just mediocre.

If you have the opportunity to play the Mountain Course, I would definitely take that. I would do Bear's Best over the Arroyo course.

For $50, I'd play Bear's Best, but not at their regular $225 rate.

I also didn't need their mandatory forecaddie for $30 per person + gratuity.

Not sure how long ago you played, but they no longer require the mandatory forecaddie.

When I played there, I was paired up with a guy who was a member. He said a lot of people complained about it, so they got rid of it. I don't know how long ago that was.

BTW, woohoo for my 200th post!
