Anyone ever rode on RT shuttle from airport to Excalibur hotel on the strip? Right now they have round trip for $13 but I don't know anything about their service compared to other shuttle service. Any thoughts?

Excallibur does not offer free shuttle or anything.

$13 is the normal price. But I don't see an RT Shuttle on the airport site: https://www.mccarran.com/Go/Shuttles.aspx

Oh it's misleading. It says RT shuttle but it's actually the showtimes tour one.

In my experience Showtime (and Bell-Trans) run mini-coaches while Airline Shuttle and Super Shuttle run mostly mini-vans. I have seen a mini-coach Super Shuttle. I usually use Bell-Trans rather than squeeze in a mini-van.

I have used several shuttles & have never had a problem with any. I don't think there are many hotels in Vegas that have free shuttles, at least I have never stayed at one. I usually do not pre book one. I just go outside & get one. No problems ever.

You can take a cab for very little more money. Why mess with a shuttle? Lots of waiting and stops both ways. Waste of time to save very little money.

Piggybacking on placebets' comment, if there is more than one of you, definitely take a cab. The cab would only be a few bucks more than 2x shuttle tickets.

The cab would be considerably less than 2 X $13. I paid $16.80 plus tip from LAS to the Monte Carlo last week, and $12.80 plus tip to return to the airport.

How easy it is to get a shuttle when you arrive at the airport or we should pre book one?

I do NOT recommend shuttles. You don't know if you will be dropped off first or last. I have spent 45 min. on one shuttle & an hour on another--NEVER AGAIN! Don't like to waste vaca time.

It is about $15 from airport to Excalibur to take a cab (just be SURE to say "no tunnel")
