You have your choice of Shaws or Hannoford. If you turn at the light next to Burger King Shaw's will be the next entrance after the back entrance to B.K.'s. Th entrance to Hannaford is right on Rte 16 Both stores are open from 7am-11pm exept on Sudays when they close at 9pm

I would agree with inkepa - Hannaford's is where we always go. It is towards the south end of town. Although it is just off Route 16 - remember that it is on the east side of the road. It is not right out on the highway - rather it is back in a bit - but I am sure you will have no trouble finding it. Inkepa - how is the snow? I hear there is tons down there this year - with another big dump coming this weekend. Skiing and snow-shoeing should be amazing. Can't wait to get there. Denny

Denny, I have lived in Jackson for over 20 years and this is the most spectacular ski season I can remember. We are getting some freezing rain today but with close to 4 FEET of powder underneath the crust, the groomers will turn under any ice by tomorrow we will be once again enjoying the best skiing in years! There is also a small grocery store that is more limited and expensive at intersection of 16 and 302 in Glen. Good for things you forgot and don't want a 20 minute drive if you are staying in the Jackson area.

That little grocery store in Glen is called Grants. There is also a Walmart near the Shaws if you want to pick up snacks and drinks.

Every time we head up to NoCon, we start the visit with a run to Wal-Mart (usually first of several), Shaws, and Zeb's. (I like the Pine Forest soap they have) It makes the visit with kids 100% easier. We only have to travel with a days worth of diapers and snacks, then stock up locally. It is easier for us, and adds a few dollars to local economy. (Skip the WalMart debates please).
