 Child Friendly Hotel

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a child friendly hotel, we are looking to go away in sept with our 2 year old.

Also what is the weather like then and how long is the flight time from UK.

Thanks

Hi Kiran,

Look at Beachcomber Hotels in the north west and south and Sugar Beach and La Pirogue in the west.

Le Victoria and Le Cannonier in the north west are particularly child orientated:

www.beachcomber-hotels.com

www.sugarbeachresort.com

www.lapirogue.com

Flying time is around 12 hours direct with BA or Air Mauritius ex LHR or 15/16 hours via Paris or Dubai with

Air France or Emirates.

For weather see the comprehensive weather guide which Skymap gave us:

www.world-weather-travellers-guide.com

Mauritius is very child friendly and supermarkets stock disposable diapers etc.

Cheers

Bronia :)

We stayed at le Victoria and shandrani with our 18 month old last September. Would highly recommend both, babysitters were good and quite cheap. The pool at shandrani was warmer and much closer to the airport, but the rooms at le Victoria were much bigger. If we went again shandrani would definitely be the preferred option, although I would be tempted to spend some time at le Victoria
