At the moment our plans are to stay at Le Tropical for a fortnight but intend to book two full day deep sea fishing trips out of Black River. Could anyone advise on the cost of taxis between the two?

Your hotel is east and Black River west, so you'll have to cut across the island. Driving time approximately 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
I have no idea how much a taxi would cost sorry, but not cheap. You could get a quote from
