2, Which plug adapter is best

3, Any good tips on making this a great holiday?

Hi Elaine Take sterling and change in airport arrivals hall commision free.

For current exchange rates see

www.shibanifinance.com

Most hotels have standard BS square 3 prong pins but you can come across the old round 2 pins so take an adaptor to be on the safe side. You can buy them in the local supermarkets too.

Look at things to do in the left hand column.

Regards

Bronia :)

Although we always take a travel adaptor, most modern hotels use the same plug as the UK.

I would change sterling at the currency exchange at the airport in Mauritius.

have recently been to silver beach and you dont need any adapters, my tip would be to take a small mirror as the plug is nowhere near there mirror and the hairdryer they supply isnt very good. Ask for extra pillows too as pillows are thin. Silver beach may not look great but service and food make up for it,

Enjoy
