There have been recent reviews of restaurant that have not been very complimentary. Does anyone have any first hand experience they would like to share?

Ano other recomeendations for Durham, Chapel Hill?

Magnolia Grill is very good. There is excellent service and a rotating menu from a renowned chef.

Other recommendations for Durham and Chapel Hill for upscale dining:

Elaine's on Franklin (Chapel Hill)

Acme (Carrboro)

Nana's (Durham)

Carolina Crossroads at the Carolina Inn (Chapel Hill)
