Well we leave in about 2 weeks. Our cottage is paid for, and we are all set! Unfortunately a few things have come up between the time we booked which has slightly changed impacted our typical vacation spending allowance. Can anyone give me any great tips on how to spend a week on the island without spending an arm and a leg. Great spots we can't miss, thrifty fun, etc?
We plan on spending lots of time at the beach, we can hang out in the pool, we have been advised to walk towards the west at low tide to try to catch a glimpse of the dolphins strand fishing, and got a great tip about one specific place to view that we are sure to see gators. I'm sure we will check out the Angel Oak tree as well. Any other suggestions? We will be there for 7 days. We will most likely eat in almost exclusively with the exception of maybe a night or two (somewhere family friendly) we have a 9 year old, and a 19 month old!
Looking forward to the trip. Advice is welcome! Thanks everyone!
