We will be arriving on HAL Maasdam Sat June 16 and flying out midday Mon Jun 18. Early 60's and myself with restricted walking ability. I hope that I do not get shot down for saying that we are not huge history buffs knowing how important this factor is for Boston in US history. I also do not want to rent a car. Can I please be given some advice on the following:
1. We will probably disembark at between 8:30am and 9am and have booked at The Lennox Hotel, Exeter Street. Would the best way to get to the hotel be by taxi?
2. We can leave the bags at the hotel and then I am looking at taking the Old Town Trolley Tour, having read the reviews and the present thread on the forum. To get to a pick-up for the trolley what would be the best way to get there from the hotel? I am having trouble navigating the MBTA website.
3. This day I am considering a day trip to Salem. I note that there are tours, also rail and ferry options. What can anyone suggest to combine a rail/ferry option?
4. Optional question. Who will win between the Blue Jays and Red Sox for when I will be seeing my first ever baseball game in Toronto? ::))) Canadian daughter will force us to cheer for the Blue Jays though.
