We has a series called "Secrets of New York" that covered similar topics. It was good while it lasted.

I still watch Secrets of NY and love it, there are some I still haven't seen. There is another show that comes on after Secrets of NY that is really good as well, Blueprint NY.

What channel do you watch those shows on springerandy? Don't know if I would be able to get it here, but we do get a lot of US channels - just wondering. I looked up Secrets of New York, and it looks wonderful, but I don't see it for sale at Amazon (or anywhere). Blueprint NY looks good too.

I believe the Secrets and Blueprint shows are on Channel 25, the NYC Tv channel. There's also a show called $9.99 that talks about cheap or free things to do in the city. Reruns of all of these are ongoing here.

***What channel do you watch those shows on springerandy?***

Lizzie is right, it's the NYC TV channel. It's part of the programming here, not sure if they have that channel outside of the area?

Here is the website for each, they have samples of each program. I googled if full episodes are available, and could not find anything. Youtube had one episode, but I could not find the whole series. But for some of the Blueprint NY episodes, the full version is available.

Neighborhood Slice is another show I enjoy watching as well on that channel.

A couple weeks ago I came across a documentary on the Discovery Channel all about Grand Central Terminal. Fascinating history and details about this grand old dame.

omg, I wish I had never heard of that channel. It looks (In the words of my daughter)....DOPE! 😄

But it's definitely not carried here, and not offered on-demand, so looks like I'm out of luck. Only choice would be to watch in the hotel!

Scott, that sounds like one I watched (recorded) just last night. It was called Super Systems and was on Discovery Science here in Oz. Episode 2 is Grand Central Terminal, Episode 1 is New York Taxi Cabs, and Episode 4 is JFK Airport.
