You'll actually want to get off at the Baltimore Street / Arena station. Go to Baltimore Street and walk 4 blocks east toward Light Street, make a right and then the hotel is there at 120 East Redwood Street.
The light rail picks up at the airport on the bottom level of the international terminal. Here is a schedule for your convenience.
You'll want a northbound schedule.
Thank you both - glad I asked! We're coming the first weekend in June and I'm sure I'll have lots more questions!!
To add to the above, I've done this many times and it would be helpful (for you) to know what door your airline's baggage service will come on. I come in on Southwest (Baggage Door 3 and 4) and it's a very LONG walk from one end of the airport to the other.
Light Rail picks up outside the very last door (past International Arrivals) at what would be about Door 20, on the Lower Level. I don't even remember if there is a Door 20 but it's at the very end. If you're a good walker, it's not a problem but I usually have to sit down a couple of times, after a long day of flying.
Right before you go out the last door (you'll see the rails and the Light Rail sign in front of you), look to your right and you'll find the machine to buy your tickets, right next to the rest room. Quite handy.
I just got back from Baltimore. You can also check out Baltimore.org for a lot of info. I used something called the charm circulator its free and a nice way to see the city. The site also has some money saving coupons. Oh and just an FYI, the Walters art museum is free and a terrific place to go and spend a good part of your day located in Vernon square. The only time I felt uncomfotable was on the west side of a street named MLK. The orange circulator has a few stops on that side, but it was ok. I previewed many areas with goggle earth so I had a better preview of where I was going.
