Hi I am Joe Allen owner of Allens Alaska Adventures. Any of the Kayaking companies in the Seward area are good. You will find qualified owners with a lot of exp. as well as guides who go out of the norm to give you a great time. Since you mention just those 3 above let me say that they all have great reviews and offer quality services. My advice to you is to call each one and balance the trips offered, price and most of all what YOU want to do. I do know that Adventure 60 offers a trip into Bear Glacier that is really cool. As another owner of a competitor of theirs said, "Bear Glacier offers everything in Alaska except whales". Do not be discouraged by the fact that some people say it is dangerous. They are right, it CAN be dangerous. I would not recommend it to someone on their own unless they have a LOT of exp. up here. I have landed on the beach a number of times for beach combing and taken my old boat into the river mouth lots of times. I have also taken the widow of a man who died trying to land on the beach facing the ocean when it was to big of surf. Keeping all of that in mind I WOULD RECOMMEND it if you had expert help. Adventure 60 and Capt Matt of Aquatech have done a good job of opening it up. They have taken a lot of people in the river that Kayaked in the lake under the proper conditions. Sometimes up here when you have the proper help what might be a tough nut on your own is cracked more easily. If you are not an expert with local exp. hire someone who is . Quite frankly, I would love to take my son and myself up there to the lake to Kayak. When I do despite my local knowledge and exp. I will be hiring a couple of experts that have done it a lot. Just my thoughts. Joe
