Thank you to all that made this an amazing trip. I have posted on the hotels and the 8-10 restaurants that sustained us throughout our trip.
Highlights were the Petroglyph National Monument, Canyon Road,
Chimayo (High Road to Toas), Meeting a local artists who told us to eat at Sugar Nymphs in Penasco (her art work was $20,000 and she told us all about her vision and walked us through her home--then greeted us across the street while we were eating, at her suggestion). REALLY good food. Thinking it is very crowded during high season. H totally enjoyed Taos Pueblo ( I had been in the 70's and could swear had been in the parts now closed off. Anyone here know if anything changed over the decades :).
Drove through Los Almos--would love to spend more time there. Hike Bandelier--I did not make the 120 steps but H did. Love it.
LOVED our trip.Will return.
