Has anyone been to Sirenis Aparthotel Atlantic Es Cana recently? Ive seen a brilliant deal for a week at these apartments, but am a bit worried as I cant seen to find out much about them.

It appears they have been renovated to re-open this summer. Does anyone know what they are like now. Is all the work finished? Dont want to end up in a building site, as we may be taking our grandson who is 8 months old. Would these apartments be ok? What is the area around them like? any info would be much appreciated. cheers!

Hi vickylou, escana is a fairly quiet resort,so not really any discos as such, kansellas may be open but not too sure, charlies bar on the front has live entertainment on most nights, then when that has finished it turns into a late night disco, till around 4am ish.

Grannys bar is open till very late, but what a dump, there is another bar near poppeyes, but cant recall seeing any one in there, cant remember the name either.

Me and my husband has just returned from a weeks stay and this hotel. It was absolutely fantastic. The hotel was spotless, the staff really friendly and a great atmosphere all round. The only work that was being carried out was on the restaurant which is yet to open for halfboard facilities etc. However this did not interfere one bit with our stay. We are keen to return later in the year, as were many people who we spoke to last week.

Hi there - we just got back today. Very nice apartments - would definitely recommend, and it's lovely and quiet at the moment as they only appeared to be about half full - loads of space round the pool etc. Es Cana is very suitable for families and these apartments in particular are great for kids of all ages, but particularly the little ones, as there is a separate paddling pool area with a very nice play area adjacent to it - all very secure with gates etc so the kids can't escape without you noticing! Only a 5 minute walk to the beach - no building work going on while we were there. Hope this helps!

Hi, would love to know if you have been on hols yet. I am due to go next weekend, like you, had a very cheap deal. Did they have TV, Iron, microvave etc? Have they been refurbished?

My pal has recently had a knee operation so we are hoping not too many stairs?

Thanks

Just returned from 2 weeks here. Excellent Aparthotel, all brand new and very well equipped, a good 4 star. Some of the best maid service we’re had, room cleaned every day with bed linen and towels changed every other day. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff were friendly and always had a smile. First Choice Reps, Jess and Jo, were efficient and helpful and were always available.

Facilities for children looked very good, separate pool and sun terrace away from the main pool, leading onto a well equipped play area. No inflatables are allowed in the main pool or infants without arm bands, very strict life guard, which we thought was very safe and didn’t spoil the enjoyment. No shortage of sun beds at all times of day.

The negatives – This is a family aparthotel, but quite a few older couples when we stayed, including us! There were a few large family groups occupying adjacent rooms, so was noisy at times, with children running along corridors (thankfully carpeted), buzzing doorbells and slamming doors etc. However this would depend on who your neighbours were! Would also say that children would need to be closely monitored in the bathroom as the modern design of the fittings meant it was very easy to alter the temperature of the water from cold to hot very quickly.

All in all, very much enjoyed our 2 weeks here. Would return to this aparthotel again, perhaps not the resort unless towards the beginning or end of the season.
