Hi everyone.

I am booked into a Jacuzzi Junior suite at the HV.

Just wondered If anyone could help Me with a few questions.

I saw someone say that You only get use of the little pools outside the Jacuzzi suites If You are on the blue side, only? Should I be requesting to stay on the blue side? Is thee really one side better than another?

Also, My 2 kids are aged 9 and 4 and argue like cat and Dog. Is the sofabed in the lounge a Double pull out one, Or a single with a roll-away bed underneath. (We had this in HV Costa Del Sol) I cant see tem sharing a double sofabed.

Last one, Not that I'm bothered, But hubby is, Is the Jacuzzi really that good? Or just a normal bath with a few jets installed?

None of these will make a huge differenc to our hol, I'm sure We'll enjoy either way, Just like t be prepared.

Thanks All!!! x

Hi,

We stayed in a jacuzzi suite on the Orange side in June. I e-mailed First choice in advance to ask for a pool view on the Orange side. We were very pleased with the room, it overlooked one of the smaller pools next to the garden room where they performed the weddings.

You can use any of the 17 pools around the complex.

I preferred the Orange side but lots of people have said they were happier on the Blue side. Personally I found the Blue side had more babies and toddlers whilst the Orange part had older children. As I said - it suited us.

The sofabeds are double pull out ones.

Jacuzzis? Bath with a few bubbles. It was OK but nothing spectacular.

Have a great holiday!

Thankyou Misty Mew! Very helpful.

Just a cpl more questions if anyone can help.

Is there an ironing board in the room? Sometimes stashed in wardrobe,

Is it tru that Jacuzzi junior suites get an express check-in at the hotel?

Is The sofabed in same room as the main bed, or is there some kind of partition, and if so, is the dvd player in the main lounge area, or the bedroom?

Thankyou everyone! gem x

Umm, just noticed, that sounds a bit dodgy ;-)

Only asking as My kids are used to watching bedtime dvd's, so it would be handy if it was near the sofabed, and i could take their faves.

Once again, thanks!

Hi,

There aren't any ironing boards in the jacuzzi suites. There's a large work surface which houses the fridge that you could probably use for ironing.

Didn't notice if there was express check-in. There was only us any another family being checked in so it was very quick. The porters grab your cases and they are in your room within minutes.

The bedroom is a separate room from the lounge area and they have sutters so you can still see what the little angels are up to!

The TV is directly opposite the sofa bed. There wasn't a DVD player in our room.

Happy to answer any more questions you may have - just ask.

Jan

hmmm, i'm a bit confused, now.

Think I've got a junior suite, that's what's on the paperwork. As far as I can see, a Suite sleeps 3 and a junior suite 4. It does state dvd player, slippers bathrobes, etc, not that we'll use them, but good point on the shower gel, etc. That would be good to know.

In HV egypt last year, We had a kids den and it had everything U could imagine in the bathroom,

and come to think of it it did have a few things in HV Costa del sol in May,standard room, so it should have something.

woohoo. Thanks for the weather advise. even more excited, now.

Gem x

Yeah the junior suite has the dvd, robes etc. lucky you. We cant wait either!!

My hubby a builder so the hot sunny weather is a must for us. Dont think he'd cope with rubbish weather when he works in it all year in Glasgow!!! Thats why we liked Egypt so much.

Cant wait.....3 weeks tday!!!

jacuzzi suite/jumior suite are the same thing - we ha d junior on our invoice but it is a jacuzzi suite. jacuzzi suites do not have dvd players(we were misled too) only the jacuzzi ROOMS have dvd players! or at least that was our experience and of others we met whilst there who were like us expecting a dvd.the sofa bed is a double, and the jacuzzi a posh bath really - although you could adjust the pressure of the jets - we thought it was pretty good! the jacuzzi pools had no bubbles in them whatsoever when we were there, but there are loads of lovely small pools nestled around.going back to the bed - friends of ours had similar prob (step kids) and asked for a campbed in addition to the sofa bed. loads of room in jacuzzi suite so space wont be a problem
