I posted my review for the Grand over the weekend but haven't seen it yet-hope I didn't say anything to upset TA's Big Brother.

Yellowrose, did you happen to walk down and see Secrets Maroma Beach while there? Or did you happen to hear anything about it while there? Glad to hear you had a great time at the Grand! We were booked there but decided to take the risk and got a great deal at Secrets instead.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad ya'll liked the review, we just had such a wonderful time...words can't express everything...I could have gone on forever, but then most people that have visited the Grand love it just as much as we did!

Hevnsprncs: We did walk down towards Maroma, but honestly didn't see much out that way...just a bunch of debris and rocks. We did happen to see some Turtle nests, and some kind of security was there blowing a whistle telling some other tourists to move along...we were close to the beach, and they were close to the dune area. We had seen a HUGE turtle on the beach the night before. It was really cool to see the tracks and nest. After we saw the security guy, we thought it best to turn around and head closer to the Grand. IMO, I don't think the area looked ready to open any time soon.
