Have hired the thermal suits are they necessary? We have a pensioner and 5 year old. The thermal suits are they ok for ski ing in>
Let me see, Lapland, December. Yes, I think it may well be just a little on the chilly side. Thermal suits are likely to be a good deal more useful than beachwear. I can't comment on how suitable your thermal gear will be for skiing. Perhaps you should ask the people you've hired them from.

as for the temps - it could be +2 to -27 so there is no saying and having been several times it really can vary loads each day but just to say, when it's -10 etc its not the same as it is here, its a dry cold so does not actually feel as cold as it sounds its going to be - the wind is more of the issue when you are skiing
