We stayed for two nights while we visited friends and had a great time, the food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, we were made very welcome.
Well worth a visit and we will definitley stay their again.

We were made so welcome, the food was fantastic, the wine excellent and the house is beautiful!

Coming back after a very long car journey (made on a Saturday in August) we were later than expected but still there was lovely meal waiting for us and Malcolm and Edward were just as welcoming as before! It was a bit like coming home!

We would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting them again ...

I booked the overnight stay before we left for our holiday. The website was excellent and it all sounded too good to be true. This could not be further from the truth. After a long drive from the South of France and feeling a bit depressed about going home we were warmly welcomed by Malcolm,Leo(the dog) and Edward. Both had been working hard in the house and garden. Edward showed us to our lovely room while Malcolm carried our bag, what a luxury. We decided to visit the nearby Argenton sur Creuse which was well worth the visit and also dropped in to see the fantstic church in the nearby village of Le Menoux. On returning to the farm we showered and changed and were treated to a wonderful meal cooked by Edward and an evening of relaxed conversation. The cooked breafast next day was also a treat with lovely fresh eggs from the farm. We will definately go back, next time with our dogs, as a stopover to our new home in Languedoc. A rural gem in small village of Bonnilly, a short distance south of Chateauroux, which is at southern edge of Loire region. Owned and run by two very welcoming English chaps, where absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Superb food, breakfast and dinner, much of it coming from their own grounds and gardens. A very relaxed and happy atmosphere from the time you enter the front door. Worth a detour.
