My wife always checks trip adviser reviews. They were very accurate. Enter the courtyard, the bikes on the left, reception ahead and a warm welcome inside. The rooms that we stayed in were rustic, made of wood and bamboo. But very few mosquitoes got through the walls and non through the colourful netting over the bed.
The first night there was noises from the monkeys which kept us awake but the second night I slept through it and I was used to it after that. LOL.
We had an Enfield 500cc bike for the duration, we didn't see a bigger bike. Most of the traffic on the roads are small bikes and scooters. Many do not have mirrors, the usual procedure is to sound your horn before overtaking, which seems to work. We did not know what bike gear to take and ended up not using any of it. Not even a crash helmet. The only road that it is compulsory is the main highway. The speed limit is 60kph but most of the time you'll be doing less than 40kph because of the traffic, road condition or speed humps which are unmarked and at random. My wife ended up a little bruised because of the bouncing around.
Overall we enjoyed the stay. The staff, room, food, flora and fauna, bike and Goa made a wonderful combination.
