The hotel we booked especially because it had advertised to have a casino, cinema and our appartment would be a studio. We had the option of cheaper hotels in the area, however, the list of additional features this hotel offered won us over. When we arrived we had to carry our cases up 3 steep and icy flights of stairs (this was after travelling for 10 hours) so not good, once in the hotel we were took to our room which was not a luxury studio but a fold down sofa bed which me and my sister had to share. I went down to speak to the manager, at which point the receptionist laughed and said "no manager was on at night." We did not get out accomadation changed even although the hotel itself advertised from floors 3 upward were all apartments and zero to 2 were studios, we were left on the 6th floor. The staff at the hotel were very rude, ignoring us in favour of Bulgarian guests at all times, keeping our change if we bought something. The worst night was when we invited friends from another hotel to come and have dinner at our "5 star" hotel. It took more than half an hour to get served with the waiter bringing one menu between 6 people. After we ordered our meals came in drips, one guest had ordered a meal with mash potato and his entire meal was finished before the mash came, however, the worst was one guest ordered a cheeseburger and chips, after an hours wait she went up to the waiter to remind him, she was still waiting (we were all finished our food by this point), the waiter then brought out cheese on toast, at this she had reminded him what she ordered. Then a waitress came out started shouting at my friend, (at this point we were all very embarrassed and I felt terrible for suggesting that our friends should come to our hotel) After another 10-20 minutes the toast on cheese came back out, we all decided we had had enough and said our night was completely ruined, my friend was close to tears and we all asked to speak to the manager. After much deliberation the meal was free, however, I would not recomend anyone British to stay at this hotel, they clearly do not like the Brits.
