Just returned from our weeks stay here and had a lovely time. It was our first time in Ibiza, which is a beautiful place. Portinatx itself is quiet, but the 2 beaches are gorgoeus and there are some nice bars and restaurants. We tended to go to Zulu lounge, where they played chilled tunes, and the Jardim restaurant, which served beautiful fish.
There's a 'square' with a couple of English bars but we stayed away as they were full of brits eating burgers and chips, and being on holiday, we wanted to try somewhere different!
The hotel itself is a 3*. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly, but there is a lack of variety at the morning and evening buffets. It caters very much for children, of which there were many. Travelling as a couple with no children it was difficult to relax sometimes with the constant screaming of the little tots! It is a 'superfamily' resort though so we shouldn't moan!
Overall a lovely, peaceful place with enough to see and do for a weeks break. Ibiza town is a must!

we have just returned from this hotel and will never go back. we were slopping out a bucket of water on the balcony from the air-con every day. the food was not great, reminded me of a works canteen. tinned fruit and not much choice of fresh fruit. we ended up buying bleach etc. to get it clean. only one electrical socket in the room. the other used the t.v, which only had a good reception on the sports channel. which you were unable to see from one of the beds. people queing in the rain at 8am to get sunbeds.(sad people). this hotel badly need refurbished. we hated it that much we went to another hotel in st eulalia for 2 nights and didn't want to go back so we stayed 4 nights. portinatx seems to be in a timewarp with inflated prices. they run only a very limited bus service to Ibiza town and st eulalia think this is to stop people taking business elsewhere. only good thing was the huge balcony. and the bus home

“A Dirty Pontins/Butlins In The Sun!!!”

Arrived here 17th August wish I had not botherd. It is awful at the cost of £2000.00 for 2 Adults and a child. I would never have imagined such an oudated expensive diry Hotel. It is Hideous, the Reception is as the last Review an over crowded diry old Airport. The room was much worse!!! The size of a bathroom it had 3 camp style beds squeezed in which took up the whole room, a diry balcony with a broken A/C that you had to switch on every 20 mins, it was like going back 25 years in time to a Pontins style holiday!! We asked to move, the Hotel was full so they refused. The pool area was dirty and never cleaned. The Food was very repetetive and English food only "fry ups galore" with HP sauce. Whilst this Hotel is wanting to cater for the Brits Abroad!!! They are also ripping them off charging over inflated prices for drinks, lollies ettc.. 2 lolly ices £5.00!!! Whilst the Reps here are working very hard to provide fun for the children, the Hotel is letting them down greatly and no doubt creaming great profits. If people think this is a good holiday for the money they really need to get out more.. £2000.00 can take you to Cuba all inclusive for 2 weeks in an amazing 5 star hotel where you cannot spend money if you try!! We shall be giving this style of Holiday a big miss in the future!! Portinax is a small place with an ok beach not far from this hotel, The best advice is to get a hire car which we did and get out of the place around the Island there are some nice spots and some great beaches, where you do not have to get up at 8am to secure yourself a sunbed around a crowded diry pool full of inflatables!! At very best this Hotel is a 2 star charging 4 star prices.

“hated it !”

We only managed to stay one day at this hotel as we disliked it so much. we arrived to absolute chaos. the reception was a walk through which led directly to a noisy lounge area resembling an airport departure lounge. Within minutes all seats were taken for a game of bingo. Our disappointment continued when we got to our rooms, we were sharing with our daughter and there was little room to move let alone unpack. two beds were crammed together touching the curtains to patio doors and the third bed was touching the wall. We paid supplements for see view which was hidden behind very noisy air conditioning units also overlooked by other rooms to the extent we couldn't open the curtains as there was always someone on their balcony looking in. Although we only stayed one night the food we did sample was boring and very average definately didn't have a meditteranean feel. Unfortunately all other hotels were fully booked so we've come home not being able to face another day at this hotel which is a real shame as Ibiza is beautiful. To save the stress and disappointment we would highly recommend avoiding hotel Presidente ! ! ! !
