Celebrating our ninth anniversary we chose The Leatherne Bottel having failed to get a table at Le Manoir. It was a fortunate compromise and we enjoyed every minute of our lunchtime feast. There were only three other tables occupied on our Monday date (weekends can be hectic if the weather is good) and everyone seemed to be enjoying the outstanding food beautifully presented and served by impeccable waiters. A bottle of Pinot Grigio Blush with some elegant pre-lunch Sauvignon Blanc house wine was also perfectly served. The bill came to £136 including service, which is pricey, but with absolutely faultless cooking and first class service we were both impressed and determined to repeat the experience.
