The hotel was easy to find but access was difficult due to road closures to accommodate the ongoing wine festival. This happens a lot in Spain and hotels should try to give visitors instructions in the event of road closures etc. Our SatNav was overheating but given that the Hotel Car Park was free we should not gripe, even if the cornering in the car park was very tight.
Reception was efficient, informative and friendly. Our rooms were spotless as were the bathrooms. Towels and soap were replenished after one night. Our first floor room overlooked the street which was very quiet due to it being closed at one end for the festival. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
Breakfast (quite extensive I think) could be booked in advance but we entered the same facility from the street and paid only €2.75 each for tostada y tomate, zumo de naranja y café. More than ample as we intended to have main meals at lunch and dinner in some of the many restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance.
I have stayed in slightly more luxurious hotels for slighty less than €130 for a double room but hey! We were at a wine festival and had far too much red wine!!
Overall it was a very pleasant experience and would recommend staying there. We would certainly return!More
