We nearly stayed in one of the hotels at the Drumnadrochit exhibition centre but am so glad we found the Pottery House instead. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but it was a lovely stay. On arrival we were very impressed with how new everything looked, (the owners bought it four years ago but I'm sure the rooms must have been redecorated at least once since then). A good selection of Fair Trade teas and coffees are available in the room with a little fridge hidden in the wardrobe, (with a jug of fresh milk - so easy to provide but how many b&b's do that?!). There is a great folder provided with suggestions of things to see and do in the near and not so near vicinity. We went on two of the walks suggested, (the 5k and the 7k one), and they were both great with some stunning Loch views. There is a daily changing menu at breakfast with locally sourced products and home made rolls and jam - lovely. One thing I would recommend - walk down to the local pub the Dores Inn just before sunset and watch the sun set over the loch from the tables in the beer garden. It was cold but well worth it!!
