“Loch Ness”

Pottery House

1 Jul 2008

Pottery House was the fourth of six B&B's we experienced on our three week tour of the UK.
It was easily the best, in every way !!
From "how to find us" instructions, a friendly welcome, a fantastic spacious room with great bed, and all the trimmings.
Then a delicious home cooked breakfast with fresh baked rolls.
Pottery House ticks all the boxes.
Well done John and Glen, it's a great establishment.
Michael and Stephen, Melbourne Australia.

We also loved the Dores Inn, for it's quaint charm and good pub food, situated right on the shores of Loch Ness.
In fact we loved it so much, we went back the second night too.

“Warm & Relaxing”

Pottery House

24 Jun 2008

A warm & friendly welcome on arrival, the scenery of the Pottery House, which is situated 1 min ute away from Loch Ness blends in just perfect to create a relaxing atmosphere. The Pottery House has an excellent standard of accommodation & food including the most wonderful home made bread to accompany your breakfast in the morning is a must.
John & Glen have made the surrounding area around the Pottery House picturesque which blends perfectly with the view from the Loch. The rooms are very spacious, excemptly clean and the view from the rooms takes your breath away.

I Highly recommend anyone visiting Loch Ness to book a stay at 'The Pottery House'.

Pottery House

23 Jun 2008

It was a very pleasant stay, beginning with a very kind welcome. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are superb. Our motorcycles could stay in the garage for the night which is a great service as well. We will visit Pottery House again. John & Glen, thanks for all.

My friend & i stayed with John & Glen for 2 nights recently. I could find fault in no aspect of our stay. The service was excellent, food was great & the accommodation was spotless!! We hope to visit, same time every year for the forseeable future.

John & Glen.... don't change a single thing, your B&B is spot on!

See you next year!

“A very kind welcome”

Pottery House

A very kind welcome, a nice and spacious bedroom, delicious breakfast, helpful people... all we can wish for a pleasant stay. just try to avoid dining at the Dores Inn, except if you have a good amount of humour!

Management Response

We are sorry that you had a bad experience at the Dores Inn, and that you felt it necessary to mark us down even though the Inn is a separate business in the village and therefore completely out of our control.

We have had no negative feedback from guests about the Inn before, in fact many guests have made very favourable comments about the food and their experiences there, we will however make the owners aware of your comments.
