We stayed 2 nights in the 3 bedroom villas. These were well maintained and clean. The downsides for us were the fairly firm bed - not very comfortable, and the lack of a bbq facility, just a strange omission for this type of property in a bit of a remote location. Car parking is very tight too, but ok if you are careful. Very quiet location, near 1st green, but you need a car to get around. The golf course has improved greatly over the years and was in very good condition (mid April so it should be !!) What was a big let down was the resort restaurant. We had eaten there the previous year & found it good, but the food this time was ordinary and the service off-hand. Our group did have some good steaks & battered fish (hard to get too wrong !) but the chicken could have been KFC and the duck was tough. Small serves too. The wait staff acted as if they'd rather be somewhere else and were not very attentive. The wine list is comprehensive if slightly over-priced. Overall, we would stay again but would self-cater avoiding the restaurant ..... very disappointed.
