What a lucky find in what we believed would be a dull city and a culinary desert! We stumbled upon La Barra by chance, attracted by a contemporary decor and a creative menu (which - to my mind - is always a good sign!) Tapas were great, do not miss their signature octopus, staffed pepper or else egg cream cooked at 60 degrees C, but the main course - steak fillet with foie gras - was even better. Desserts were delightful as well. Easily the best food option in Alicante!
