The Park Hotel Tokyo is an oasis in the middle of Tokyo. The room was immaculate, modern and extremely comfortable. The location is excellent - about a 5 min walk to the JR Yamanote line Shimbashi station. The Tokyo subway system can be a little intimidating at first, and the JR Yamanote line was easy to use. We would definitely return.

This is the second year (Spring break) that we stayed at the Park Hotel Tokyo. This time, I requested a West side room overlooking the Tokyo Tower and Mt. Fujii...It was beautiful!
Staff was wonderful! Helpful and well informed! They helped we talk to Tsukiji fish vendor to arrange for sashimi to take home and took care of receiving a package on the last day while we went shopping.
Room is clean and amenities very nice! They provide adapter for electrical connection. Hot water pot is nice for tea in the morning.
Location is great...centrally located in Tokyo. hotel is right above the Oedo subway line so you just catch the elevator to the subway level...only 1 stop from Tsukiji Market...great place for breakfast. short walk to Shimbashi station. Roppongi, Shinjuku is on Oedo subway line...
Saw some comments regarding noise, but I REALLy don't hear a thing!
I highly recommend!

The Park Hotel Tokyo is a relatively new hotel, clean like everything else in central Tokyo, but with the added bonus of being far enough from the hustle and bustle that it's quiet at night times, yet still near enough to Shimbashi station that getting around Tokyo on the trains or Metro is as easy as pie.

The rooms are a very generous size (for Tokyo), and because it's in what is essentially a business district most day trips are against the flow of humanity.

The staff have (so far) been very friendly and accommodating, and we're looking forward to the rest of our stay.

Two small things do stand out about this place as problematic, however.

Firstly, breakfast and room service are very expensive.

Secondly, there are few truly local eateries. We've spent our dinners so far going down to Odaiba or closer in to town. The convenience store down at the base of the tower is great in a pinch or for a light meal, but if you're in need of protein you might have to go further afield.

I have always stayed in Ginza area, which is close to the Shimbashi subway because I needed to travel out to Tokyo Big Sight. Since my usual hotel has increased in the room rates, I have decided to do some searching for some nearby hotels.

Having read some great reviews of the hotel, I am amazed by the quality of the hotel service, it's family-friendly environment (we travelled in a group of 5 pax, including a boy of 12 years), especially the toiletries.... I have enclosed a snap shot of it. Trust me -- this is the first ever experience being pampered by a full range, including matching coloured bath salts.

Well Done, Park Hotel.

The best thing is, the hotel is located exactly outside the Shiodome Train Station, on Yurikamome line... which takes me directly to Tokyo Big Sight. Despite being so close to the train line, you can't hear anything (perhaps it's because the lobby is situated at the 25th floor of the Shiodome Media Tower). One impressive impression if you were to return from an evening outing... hang around at the lobby to check out the Tokyo Tower... whilst enjoying the live music on the weekends.

Wonderful... just wonderful!
