Clean, bright, modern basic rooms with comfy bed. LAN cable in the room and wi-fi at the lobby. Free launderette and drying machine. 24 hours open Lawson on 1st floor. Staffs are better educated and are courteous than some other hotels. Very near from the JR and Toei Metro stations; however, JR station does not have a lift, so people with luggage will find it a burden. Lots of inexpensive eateries around, including the Japanese-style Chinese chain Gyoza no Osho. The neighborhood has a cozy, retro, and down-to-earth atmosphere. Traditionally, this area has the highest density of Japanese doll (waningyo) shops.
The only downside is that one side of hallway always remains open so that air-conditioning is not working outside the rooms. It will be chilly in winter and hot in summer. Also, some noise from the railway station will come in through the hallway (not from the window side), and that is a bit annoying, as this is otherwise quiet neighborhood.
That said, this is a good budget hotel. There are many expensive hotels that are less satisfactory. I am quite satisfied with this hotel. I will definitely return.
