The Best in The West.......Located just outside the pretty village of Castle Cary the Snook Family have created a real home from home on their working farm. Easy to find from the directions provided and a very warm welcome. Our large room was well equiped with exceptionally comfortable beds, a setee , flat screen TV, and Wifi !! The en suite was immaculate with large towels a selection of soaps/gels and a strong shower not an oversize drip!!
The room folder had all the local information, places to eat/visit with requisite brochures on the hall table.
The breakfast menu described each dish with a note advising you where the items were sourced - eggs from her own chickens, milk/cream from the next door farm, preserves from Mrs ? in the village!!!
A lovely outdoor pool, a beautiful lounge to relax in - all in all fantastic - excellent value for money!
Sally Snook has 4 B&B rooms as well as 2 self catering cottages. As a retired B&B owner I know quality when I see it and this is the TOP!!!!
