“The Personal touch”

All Seasons Lodge Hotel

We booked into the hotel for my oldest daughter's wedding celebrations. We were made to feel like family as soon as we booked in, the rooms were spacious and modern with all the required facilities. The staff went out of their way to help, even down to giving me a lift to a local cash point on the day of the wedding!

We arrived as strangers but left, vowing to return and visit the friends we had made. The personal touch is possible in business and these guys went the "extra mile" for us.

Wish them all ever success to Jo,Billy,Kevin,David and Zoe in all their ventures. Thanks for making the "Taylor's" weekend.

Steve

We stayed for 2 nights here, and although there were some things that could have been improved on, others were great. The rooms were average, but comfortable, the bathrooms the same. Breakfast was good, with a good choice of cereals and english breakfast (with optional vegetarian meal if notified in advance). The staff were friendly, and it was quiet. Parking was a bit of an issue, but it is in a residential area. The evening menu was a little limited, but there is a choice of pubs and restaurants close by (I can reccommend the Chinese restaurant around the corner). All in all, nothing spectacular, but a comfortable, friendly hotel.

I have stayed at the All Seasons for 3 nights due to work. The hotel is ideal for a traveler or as I met when there people taking a sort break.
The hotel is situated very close to the sea, lovely beach, meals were good.
Many thanks to the staff.

“Terrible Hotel”

I checked out this hotel on Trip Advisor before booking myself a room here for a weekend whilst visiting friends in the area. I thought the previous log where one traveller described how the fire alarms were faulty was going to be just a one off and as I couldn't find anywhere else to stay at such short notice i decided to chance it. Big Mistake. The alarms rang out all night on my first night staying there and then again twice on the Sunday night but for a slightly shorter period of time. The beds were uncomfortable and the service was pretty shoddy. The man covering reception was rude and unhelpful and didn't seem to care that his guests had not slept during their stay. I cannot agree more with the comments written before me. I would advise you to steer well clear of the All Seasons Lodge Hotel - it's overpriced, has rude staff and no customer service.

“Don't stay here”

We stayed here for a weekend whilst attending a wedding. We paid £60 per night and would have been better off pitching our own tent on the sea front. The manager (if you can call him that) was a young lad who had no customer relation skills whatsoever. We weren't welcomed into the hotel, he thrust a key in our hands mumbled something and went back to watching the TV. During the night the fire alarm sounded more than 6 times and no-one seemed to be able to turn it off. We got dressed and went downstairs to find no-one around to ask what was going on. No-one came to our room to say if it was a false alarm or for real and still no-one turned the alarms off. Mind you, had they done so I probably wouldn't have slept on the lumpy mattress anyway. In the morning we went down for breakfast for a full english which consisted of 1 limp sausage, a fried egg and the rest of the plate swimming in beans. When we complained about the lack of sleep and lack of information given to us in the night we were met with insults and a very aggrevated manager (I again use the term loosley) who refused to give us any compensation. I explained that I had now got to drive 5 hours home very tired and very disappointed. His exact words were "That's not my problem". He did eventually agree to refund £10 to my card and send a receipt in the post later that afternoon. This was 3 weeks ago and no money has been refunded as yet. Apart from the terrible service and faulty alarm system the towels were dirty and stained, the beds were unconfortable and made awful screaching sounds if you moved even an inch, the TV in the room was sitting precariously on the edge of the broken drawers with a torn bit of paper saying please don't move the TV because the signal is bad and the door to the room didn't shut properly. Other than that the wedding was lovely!!
