First time in Tokyo, but needed two rooms for eight people that was close to the city and affordable. This hotel was all that and more. Friendly staff, free breakfast, and free shuttle to and from the Shinagawa train station. It's also about a five-minute walk from the monorail and subway lines, which make it even easier to get to the hotel from Haneda Airport and downtown Tokyo. We really liked it because it's a good distance from the main downtown area, which means it's quiet and less crowded. There are still a number of restaurants and even a shopping mall near by so plenty of stuff to do around the hotel. It's not a fancy hotel, but the room fit four people comfortably. The beds were a nice size and the bathroom was perfect. The rooms were clean and quiet. Nice bedding and big TV. Had free internet access and a good size FREE breakfast. The hotel lobby also had free amenities like razors and tooth brushes. The hotel has a sauna, but no one in our group used it. If you don't have a computer, the lobby has a few laptops you can use for free to book tours or check email. The staff is also nice enough to let you leave your luggage all day if you have an evening flight. As noted in other reviews, they are very strict with the 4 p.m. check in, so plan accordingly.

The frequent free bus service to/from Shinagawa Station was fantastic. Room was very clean and adequate size for a short stay. Free breakfast buffet was a welcome bonus. Reception staff were very helpful with directions. Earlier check-in and discounts are available if you become a member of the Toyoko Inn Club.

This hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the Shinagawa station. The station itself is well-connected so it's easy to get around Tokyo from here.

The room itself is clean, and spacious enough. There's a fridge and kettle, and they replace the green and plum tea sachets every day.

There's vending machines and a microwave downstairs if you need a quick bite or drink and the staff are quite friendly too.

Coin laundry also available which is handy for longer trips.

Overall, pretty good value for money.

The free shuttle from Shinagawa station to the hotel was very very convenient. A godsend even after an entire day's walking and sightseeing around Tokyo. A bus was always there whenever we got out of Shinagawa station.

The free breakfast was hearty. More on Japanese food but the croissants were unexpectedly delicious. Just the right crisp and softness to it.

There are free toiletries available at the lobby. Sleepwear, comb, toothbrush and water. Laundry room is just behind those at 100yen per wash. You can buy the laundry soap from the reception.

The room was small sized one typical of tokyo but enough to allow for movement and luggages. Bed was comfy and there was at least a table to put things on. All in all very satisfactory.

Room tip: If you're a large group this hotel offers family rooms that will help you save money.

I Check There on friday late afternoon . The front woman said that only one room left . I was asking for a single since none left she suggested me a double room for single use for 11500 yen with a basic breakfast . A normal price In Tokyo if you are in trouble on a last minute reservation . I had no choice but to book in . I did not appreciate the fact that they asked me to pay in advance but in Rome do like the Romans do . . The staff were average friendly , checked in and got the key .gone to the room , left my bags and left to invade the city . The room was not very large but clean like every where in japan . Well equiped , TV with English Chanel , hair dryer , tea set etc and so so view , a bit noisy at night because it s located on the way of a main crowded road but still convenient if you attend to stay just for a night or too .a bit expensive for what I got but this does stop me going back there again when it s needed I just wish the staff can be a bit more friendly and tell to the customers that breakfast is included and check out time is at 11 am .
