Lizzie and David really have been warm and kind.Their house is like them! We were a 9-italians-adults-and-kids group so we challenged also their patience and they really got it! Great stay, delicious breakfast and astounding rooms! The garden has also a swimming pool and next time we'll use it!Highly recommended.

We; family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. We were looking for a countryhouse and found it. Good service, clean /nice rooms (garden rooms). Little pool for the children (and me) although the weather was a bit rough we had a dip or two. Beiing norwegians we found the water temp quite pleasant.
As described by others the breakfast is better than most. Very short to nice restaurants. We will be back next year !

“Fantastic breakfast!”

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms - with a fab pool in the back garden. The owners will even set up a bbq if you're staying on a Friday night. Best of all is the breakfast.. more fruit than you can shake a stick at, and great plate of eggs and bacon.

“Very Pleasant”

Newton Farmhouse

Stayed 2 nights here in early August 07. There were 3 of us in 3 rooms all with 4 poster beds. The hosts were very friendly from initial internet booking through to contact. On arrival we got a laminated sheet with places to eat and drink and distances from farmhouse.

Rooms are nice if a tad faded. Old and new are mixed though not altogether to the best. Plastic flowers on an old dresser and a bedside locker with a faded/scratched top. Beds were extremely comfortable though.

Breakfast was very nice. Extremely well cooked English with good selection to choose from. Sausages are lovely! Plenty of choice for non-cooked, cereals, fruits etc. Beware the coffee though, it's horrid!

A very pleasant stay. Hosts are on the ball. Cute dog!
