Indeed; you can believe what they write; this place really is amazing.

Mainly based on previous reviews, I stayed here with one of my sons for three days as part of our weeks trip to Valencia and its surroundings.
Why amazing? Don't expect a grand place, spectacular views or any other 5-star grandeur. It's just the simple perfection that makes this place a real treat compared with other places to stay.

The town of Rafelguaraf has its charm as a genuin Spanish village, but in fact there's just not so much to do. Countryside is attractive with some nice touring possibilities. However, Valencia itself is the real attraction in this part of Spain.

But the main attraction of this place is its tranquility in combination with perfect hospitality, very nice food and a very (read: almost too-) modest pricesetting. I visited numerous hotels all over the world but seldome one will find a better equasion between price and quality.
The rooms are simple but well equiped (good airco!) with good beds and spotless sanityfacilities. Both guys really understand their business and will do everything to make you feel at home.
Enjoy your drinks by the pool and live Spain the easy way here!

Do's and don'ts.
Do anything you like here but don't let your son "insult the cuisine" by ordering chips!! However, they even managed to provide this dish. My son won't forget this...
Room: the "Salamanca"; Wine: the red "Nr. 12"! Order your fishpy well in advance....
And say hello to Dolores on behalf of us.

Simon and Neil, we enjoyed our stay with you and as said; we'll definately be back! Thank you!

We have just got back from a 4 night stay at Casa Sibarita and have to echo all the comments left by previous people.

The room was lovely with a really large terrace (worth paying extra for) and the hotel was beautifully restored in a thriving village. The food is excellent - we have definitely come back a couple of pounds heavier than when we left.

The pool and gardens are also perfect for just relaxing in during the day.

If you are looking for a relaxing break in Real Spain in a lovely small, friendly hotel in beautiful countryside, this is the place for you.

We have just returned from staying at Casa Sibarita and have no hesitation in recommending it.

The food was perfect, the wine list sublime and the effort Neil and Simon have put into restoring the house and garden has clearly paid off. The pool is perfect for the hot Valencian summer.

Following a recomendation we stayed for 4 nights at Casa Sibarita in the middle of a Spanish tour. Simon and Neil were the most amazing hosts, attentive and friendly without being over bearing. As a veggie I got a different dish every night all of which were delicious, the very affordable wine list and the beautiful courtyard meant that every evening we both ate and drank more than planned.... and loved it.

The rooms are beautiful and the swimming pool just amazingly chilled for lying around. All in all perfection, we are already planning our next trip.

Thank you Simon and Neil.

“Just GO.”

There are lots of reasons to visit Neil and Simon. Everything you read about their own Grand Designs Abroad is, I regret to say, all true. Search around and there is nothing bad to find. They are just about perfect in all things.

But there are lots of reason to stay in Casa to take your mind off the perfection of your hosts hospitality skills

Xativa came as a great surprise and we could easily have spent a few more days in this town alone. It does the full monty in medieval and the exercise needed to get around the castle will prepare you for yet another one of Neil's meals and Simons endless supply of excellent wine and extensive knowledge ot all things cultural.

Rafelguaraf is also good for a wander. This is a real working Spanish town of about 2000 and the townhall square is the place to take in the action.

Citrus, fruit and veg country surrounds.

The Roads Authority have a quite quaint habit of putting in extra un-needed traffic circles and there signs to villages that actually don't lead anywhere so finding the boys can occasionally take a little extra time. But you will forget about this as soon as you are in the boys tender love and care.

Five stars is just not enough.
