Excellent place. Novotels are always good in my opinion and this one was no exception. Nice room and friendly staff. Surprisingly peaceful location. Only negative and very small one is that it seemed ages away from the motorway but was quite direct. Great overnight stop on way back from south of france. V family friendly.

Very pleasantly sited hotel with rooms at the rear looking across the fields to the airport. Don't worry about aircraft noise, there isn't any--aircraft that is--it's really an airfield!

Pleasant, efficiently run hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was good and not too overpriced. We drove into Troyes to eat in the evening--sat nav helps! Many restaurants in the historic old town.

Together with my husband and my 4-years old child, I stayed one night here on our way from Milan to Paris.
We had booked a superior room to make sure we had a separate bed for our daughter: upon entering the room, we noticed that the third bed actually was a sleeping couch, which was quite hard to open up. I went back to the reception, asking why they had not prepared their bed but the girl behind the counter was of little help. All she could do was giving me instructions on how to unfold it but did not bother to send someone to help. Besides, the maid had placed only 2 towels in the bathroom, so I had to contact the reception again.
Organisation seems something French people lack ;=)
However, the room was beautiful, especially the bathroom. The hotel has a big playground for children who are free to run on the grass surrounding the building and a small pool.
We had dinner at the restaurant: the hotel is located in the outskirt of the city and, being Sunday night, we could not find any restaurant nearby. Food was excellent, though, and not too pricey. They even had a children's menu.

Good standard travellers' hotel. Not one of the newer modernised Novotels, try Reims up the road for that, but unfussy and clean.

The detour from the motorway is a little long, but you can join up if heading south further down the motorway, so if you are breaking a journey heading south this is good.

We have stayed about three or four times while heading to the Alps for a ski holiday. If you book well in advance and are prepared not to cancel, because if you do you incur a charge, then you can get excellent rates.

Car park is also secure which means you can leave a few things in the car overnight - kids' clobber, nothing valuable of course.
